Back Hikal Q1 net up 23 pc at Rs 6.7 cr

HIKAL Ltd has ended the first quarter of 2004-05 with a 23 per cent increase in profit after tax at Rs 6.71 crore compared to Rs 5.44 crore in the year-ago period.

Net sales stood at Rs 40.94 crore against Rs 32.26 crore earlier.

Crop protection products contributed Rs 34.23 crore while pharmaceuticals contributed Rs 6.71 crore to the revenue.
