BANGALORE: The State Bank of Mysore reported a first quarter net profit of Rs. 53 crores, a growth of 17 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The operating profit grew 26 per cent to Rs. 118 crores for the three months to June 30, a release said here. Income from operations grew 20 per cent. Net interest income has risen by 21.66 per cent and non-interest income by 17.55 per cent, over the same period last year. During the quarter, the bank took deposits of Rs. 11,611 crores, a growth of 19 per cent (annualised). Total advances stood at Rs. 6762 crores. Our Staff Reporter
