Back Syndicate Bank gesture for AP student

HYDERABAD: Syndicate Bank has come to the aid of a needy student by providing her the finances to join BITS Pilani to pursue a Chemical Engineering course. The bank sanctioned Rs 3.8 lakh at very low interest as educational loan to Ramagiri Vishruthi, daughter of a tailor hailing from Mahaboobabad in Warangal district.

Though, she secured eighth rank in the State in the intermediate examinations, and qualified for admission to BITS, her parents could not afford the education costs. The story, which was featured in Teja TV recently, caught the attention of the Syndicate Bank, whose Regional Manager, Hyderabad RO (rural), Mr R. Venkateswaran, acted fast by spot sanction, a bank release said.
