India begins with a win

CHENNAI, JULY 31. India overcame Iran 27-25, 17-25, 25-19, 25-20 in its opening match of the 8th Rashid international volleyball tournament at Dubai here on Friday, according to a press release from VFI.

K.J. Kapildev was adjudged the `Player of the match'. India next takes on UAE (junior) on August 2 (Monday).
