BANGALORE, JULY 31. DPS Maruti Kunj walked away with the team honours with 67 points as the three day all India DPS Inter-school table tennis which concluded at the DPS Bangalore South here today. Bokaro thanks to its girls team of Akansha and Akansha Nidhi finished second best with 29 points.
Boys: Senior: Singles: Jasdeep Singh (Mathura Rd) bt Ramit Bhatnagar (R.K. Puram) 7-11, 11-7, 9-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-5. Doubles: Ashim Mohanty/Krod Swain (Nalco Nagar) bt Aman Kaushik/Bipin Sharma (Maruti Kunj) 11-4, 11-7, 5-11, 11-9.
Junior: Singles: Dhruv Arora (Mathura Rd) bt Rituraj Roy (Farakha) 14-12, 11-3, 11-5. Doubles: Akash Devan/Dhruv Arora (Mathura Rd) bt Salim Mohd./Mohd. Haseen (Maruti Kunj) 11-7, 13-15, 4-11, 11-9, 14-12.
Girls: Senior: Singles: Akansha (Bokaro) bt Akansha Nidhi (Bokaro) 11-7, 11-9, 11-9, 7-11, 11-6. Doubles: Akansha/Akansha Nidhi (Bokaro) bt Shefali Singh/Paridhi Divan (Maruti Kunj) 11-5, 13-11, 11-6.
