Back Apollo Tyres dividend Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thrissur-based Apollo Tyres has returned to the State Government a dividend of Rs 45 lakh for 2003-04. The State Government owns 10 lakh shares in the company, which had posted a net profit of Rs 70 crore during the period. Disclosing this, an official spokesman said here that the Finance Minister, Mr K. Sankaranarayanan, received a cheque for the amount of dividend from Mr N. Sreekumar, head of the Perambra unit of the company, at a simple ceremony held at the Minister's Chamber here.
