Bangalore , Aug 2 STAFFING firm JobAccord has started its BPO operations in Bangalore. It has set up a 50-seat centre to cater to its US customers.
A subsidiary of Aceon Tech Inc, JobAccord enables and enhances human capital recruiting process and delivers through its Web-based application - RPMS (Recruitment Process Management system) - and large in-house recruitment team. The company also started its recruitment process outsourcing services (RPO), which is a key component of human resource outsourcing. The RPO is done through a combination of online Job boards and in-house recruitment team. "Online recruiting is the in thing in developed countries and is gaining momentum the world over, along with the in-house recruitment process. Gartner Dataquest research reports estimate the BPO market at $110 billion in the year 2002 growing at 9.5 per cent CAGR to $173 billion in 2007. "Indian recruiters, both corporate and recruitment firms are catching up fast with this automated mode of recruitment, due to its obvious benefits like easy to register, speed of recruitment, online testing systems and cost-effectiveness," said Mr. P Chandra Mohan, Executive Director, JobAccord India. JobAccord's customers in India include SAP Labs, Samsung, Wipro, Global eXchange, TCS, Xerox, Scandent, and Msource .
