Back Power Grid gets ISO

HYDERABAD: The Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Southern Region (Secunderabad) has been certified against international quality systems standards, ISO:9001:2000 by the National Quality Association, UK, becoming the first region in the PowerGrid to get the certification.

The National Quality Assurance (NQA) has awarded three separate certificates to the PowerGrid, Southern Region. One for the Transmission System, the second for Regional Test Laboratory and third for the Guest House, according to a press release. The certificates were presented by Mr David Wood, International Operations Director of NQA to Mr N.R. Chanda, Executive Director of the Region recently.
