TIRUPATI. Aug. 15. The TTD will extend the `Sudarsanam' token facility to six more centres in the State -- Srikakulam, Sangareddi, Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Ranga Reddy - by month end. This was disclosed by the TTD Executive Officer, Ajeya Kallam, on Sunday while participating in the Independence Day celebrations here. He took the occasion to list various schemes taken up by the TTD to make the darshan of Lord Venkateswara hassle-free. Mr. Kallam recalled in this connection the shifting of the current booking counter of `archana anantaram darshan' (AAD) to Tirupati down the hill from Tirumala for the benefit of pilgrims. Similarly, `sahasra deepalankara seva' and `prathyeka kalyanam' tickets would also be made available through the current booking counters at Tirupati from the first week of September. To avoid hardship involved in securing `arjitha seva' tickets and accommodation at Tirumala, the Executive Officer said, the TTD would introduce Online booking shortly from eight centres -- Chennai, Hyderabad, Guntur, Eluru, Khammam, Anantapur, Adilabad and Warrangal -- on an experimental basis and would extend it to other district headquarters in the next phase.
