Back CGHS cards for retired staff

HYDERABAD: The Central Government pensioners, who have settled in a non-CGHS (Central Government Health Scheme), will now be eligible to obtain a CGHS pensioner card, and avail facilities similar to those while in service.

According to the Additional Director, CGHS, Hyderabad, the card could be issued to a Central Government pensioner living in non-CGHS area and who is drawing Rs 100 per month as outdoor medical allowance.
