Back Delhi to host meet on consulting services

THE International Council of Consultants (ICC) is organising a national conference on `Emerging opportunities for consulting service providers in the context of globalisation' in January 2005 in New Delhi.

"Globalisation and emerging regional alliances are expanding physical boundaries of operations of consultants," a Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) official told Business Line.

CIDC is partnering with ICC and Consultancy Development Centre (Ministry of Science and Technology) to organise the conference.

The CIDC official said the expanding frontier represents both a threat and an opportunity for consultants in a variety of sectors like agriculture, banking, energy, information technology and governance.
