Baby abandoned

BIJAPUR, AUG. 30. A newborn female infant was found abandoned at a bus shelter on Athani Road on Saturday. Satish Saraf, a resident of Shastrinagar locality, noticed the baby wrapped in a cloth lying on the bench of the bus shelter. He informed the Gandhi Chowk police, who handed over the infant to the Civil Hospital. Hospital authorities said that the baby was in good health.
