Back Headload workers' strike in Kerala

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Headload workers in the State are scheduled to go on a one-day strike on September 7 to press for a list of demands, including the withdrawal of the law enacted by the Kerala Legislature in 2002 imposing restrictions on the operations of headload workers, says a press release.

The striking workers will march to the State Secretariat, the release adds. Workers from all the major trade unions are expected to participate in the strike.
