Back ASCENT to hold business clinic for SMEs on Sept 11 Our Bureau
Bangalore , Sept. 6 THE Bangalore-based Asian Centre for Entrepreneurial Initiatives (ASCENT) is holding a business clinic for entrepreneurs in small and medium enterprises in Bangalore on September 11. This clinic will facilitate entrepreneurs to consult with experts in their areas of business. According to Mr Hareesh Belwadi, Co-ordinating Executive, ASCENT, "the initiative called, One2One, is mainly to diagnose problems that entrepreneurs of any sector may encounter at any stage in their business venture." The clinic aims to help entrepreneurs in business and for those who are contemplating venturing into new areas. ASCENT has also ensured that all the counselling and advice will be in person and the entrepreneurs will not have to share or voice their problems in public , says Mr Belwadi. The one-day event can facilitate interactions for 55 entrepreneurs. "We have received a huge response and may have to conduct another one soon," he says. The clinic will have experts in various areas including finance, marketing, venture capital funding to help the entrepreneurs. The clinic is jointly organised by Peenya Industries Association, Greater Bangalore Industries Association and sponsored by Small Industries Development Bank.
