Back Tiruchi SSI plea for windmill

MADURAI: The Tiruchi District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (Tiditssia) has urged the State Government to set up a windmill unit for the production of electric power for the benefit of the units in the SIDCO Industrial Estates.

The President and Secretary of the Association, Mr S. Sridharan, and Mr S. Abdul Rasheed, have said that the arrangement would enable the small-scale units to obtain power at a reasonable rate, besides attracting new entrepreneurs to the estates.
