KARIMNAGAR, SEPT. 10. A farmer, B. Yerraiah (35), committed by consuming pesticide in Peddampeta village of Mahadevpur mandal, on Friday. Failure of crop and increasing debts was said to be reason for his suicide. Reports reaching here stated that the farmer had cultivated cotton in his three-acre land. But due to prevailing dry weather conditions, the crop failed. Unable to clear the debts, which he had incurred, he resorted to the extreme act.
