Vinodkumar, Kalyani adjudged the best

MUMBAI, SEPT. 12. Tamil Nadu's V. Vinodkumar (men) and Andhra Pradesh's K. Kalyani (women) were adjudged the best weightlifters in the State Bank of India junior (under-20) National weightlifting championship that concluded here at the Andheri Sports Complex on Sunday.

The results:

Women (+75 kg): 1. P. Spandana (AP) 87.5+110 = 197.5, 2. K. Tulsi (AP) 75+105 = 180.0, 3. Debmuni Kumari (Jharkhand) 67.5+85 = 152.7 kg. Men (105 kg): 1. Manoj Jawlekar (Mah) 110+137.5 = 247.5, 2. Rakesh Kumar (Haryana) 110+137.5 = 247.5, 3. R. Ayyapan (Pondi) 110+132.5 = 242.5. (+105 kg): 1. Abhijit Ghosh (West Bengal) 125+150 = 275, 2. Sandeep Singh Tokhi (Punjab) 110+150 = 260, 3. C. H. Kalivar Prasad (AP) 112.5+145 = 257.5.
