Revelian wins

SYDNEY, SEPT.12. Tanzania's Oswald Revelian defended his Sydney Marathon title on Sunday, winning the Australian championship race in 2 hours, 21 minutes and 13 seconds. Olympic triathlete Rina Hill, returning to topflight marathon running for the first time in 12 years, won the women's race in 2:39.46. Hill finished in front of China's Han Zhenying and Yi Miaomiao in the race that ended in front of Sydney's Opera House. — AP
