Back Sybase centre in Pune Our Bureau
PUNE: Sybase, a data management and data warehousing space player, has set up its development centre heree. Talking to presspersons, Mr Raj Nathan, Senior Vice-President of the Information Technology Solutions Group, Sybase Inc, said the focus of the Pune facility would be to creating Intellectual Property (IP) and developing products of the future. Initially it would function as an extension of the existing development centres. Mr Nathan said it would recruit about 250 software professionals by mid-2005. Asked about the investment, Mr Nathan added that it would be spending $5 million (around Rs 23 crore) per annum on the Indian centre.
