Indian Airlines on Wednesday announced `Fly select fares' which offers tickets at reduced rates in economy class on select flights on 10 sectors including Bangalore-Delhi, Delhi-Mumbai, Chennai-Delhi, Chennai-Hyderabad and Mumbai-Hyderabad or in the return direction.

In a statement, the airline said that the new scheme comes with no pre-conditions. However, there are certain booking and ticketing restrictions depending on the flights and sector on which the passenger wants to travel.

Similarly, for a ticket under the scheme on the Chennai-Hyderabad route the rate would be either Rs 2,850 or Rs 3,300 while on the Delhi-Chennai or Delhi-Bangalore sectors a passenger would be charged either Rs 5,800 or Rs 7,100.

On the Delhi-Hyderabad route a passenger would be charged either Rs 4,700 or Rs 5,900.
