28-run win for Kollam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, SEPT. 19. Kollam defeated Pathanamthitta by 28 runs in the South Zone under-15 inter-district cricket tournament at the LNCPE here on Sunday. Chasing a modest target of 148 off 45 overs, Pathanamthitta's innings was wrecked by Amrit Lal (four for 44) and Nycil (three for 24) as Pathanamthitta was all out for 119.

The scores: Kollam 147 for eight in 45 overs (Pravin 48 not out) bt Pathanamthitta 119 in 40.1 overs (Amrit Lal four for 44).
