Back IIIE national convention at Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE) will hold its national convention in Thiruvananthapuram from September 24 to September 26.

The theme of this year's convention is `Quality Management in the 21st Century', a company release said.

The event, which is being held in Thiruvananthapuram for the first time, will be inaugurated by Mr James Speirs, President, Institute of Quality Assurance, UK.

This year's IIIE honorary membership will be given to Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies, while Mr R.H. Khwaja, Chairman and Managing Director, Singareni Collieries Company Ltd, will receive IIIE's `Best CEO' award, the press release said.
