BUSINESS process outsourcing (BPO) company eMR Technology Ventures has said it plans to more than triple its headcount to 2,500 professionals over the next two years.

"eMR and its associate company Arcis currently employ 700 professionals across two centres located in Gurgaon and Delhi. In the next six months, we plan to make Arcis a subsidiary of eMR. The overall headcount would also be scaled to 2,500 people in the next two years," Mr Rohit Arora, Chairman of eMR Technology Ventures, said here.

He said the existing facilities could house 1,200-1,400 people in shifts, and added that the company would look for a new centre in the South soon.

"We will look for a third centre with 500 seats, which can accommodate up to 1,200 professionals on a shift system. We will begin looking for space in 4-5 months," Mr Arora said.
