Back SIS expands Hyderabad faciltiy

SURGICAL Information Systems (SIS) has announced the expansion of its software development facility at Hyderabad and the completion of its planned investment of $6 million in India.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday after commissioning its expanded centre, which was inaugurated by the Director of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI)-Hyderabad, Col. M. Vijay Kumar, the General Manager and Head of Indian development-cum-support centre for SIS, Mr Himanshu Ubale, said: "SIS India has emerged as a strategic product development centre outside the US. This skilled workforce in India has enabled us to shorten our development time, enhance our product functionalities and improve quality assurance. The India development centre has enabled us to work round the clock on software development and testing, catering to over 200 global customers."
