Scheme for registration of service providers

COIMBATORE: The Union Finance Minister has announced a "tax payer friendly scheme for registration of service providers who have not got themselves registered so far" and also a "fast track disposal scheme for disposal of pending service tax cases of technical nature."

To obtain application/declaration forms and clarifications with regard to these two schemes, the nearest Central Excise Office could be contacted. The details are also available on the website: http://cenexkovai.tn.nic.in, according to a release from the Chief Commissioner of Central Excise, Coimbatore Zone, J. M. K. Sekhar.
