Back Kerala: Official delegation for Italy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A four-member State Government delegation, led by the Industries Minister, Mr P.K. Kunhalikkutty, has left Kozhikode for Italy to discuss business with leading cluster industrialists in the textile-furniture sector based in that country.

Announcing this, an official spokesman said here that other members of the team are Mr P.H. Kurian, Managing Director, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC), Dr G.C. Gopala Pillai, Managing Director, Kerala Industrial Infrastructural Development Corporation (Kinfra), and Mr Chacko Mathew, Managing Director, Pact Rubber Wood and Allied Products, Kottayam.

The delegation will explore joint investment opportunities in the State in the textile-furniture cluster industry, the spokesman said. Representatives of the Italian industry had visited the Kochi last month.
