Mar Ivanios triumphs

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, SEPT. 29. Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, won the title in the Kerala University inter-collegiate basketball tournament at the Mar Theophilus Training College court here on Wednesday.

In the final, Mar Ivanios thrashed TKM College of Engineering, Kollam 86-25. P.R. Renju (14) and Sony Mathew (13) were the top-scorers for Mar Ivanios.

Tony T. Varghese (9) did the bulk of scoring for TKM.

The Kerala University vice-chancellor Mr. Ramachandran Nair gave away the prizes.
