Back NRI Institute to raise grievances of Indians in Gulf Vimala Vasan
Abu Dhabi , Sept. 30 THE newly launched UAE chapter of Delhi-based NRI Institute will seriously pursue the demands of NRIs. The call for lower airfares will be the primary issue the institute will take up with the Indian authorities, said Mr Jagmohan Singh, Secretary General of the institute. Following the function in Dubai recently to launch the NRI chapter of the institute, Mr Singh told Business Line that high airfares on the Indo-Gulf sector was a very serious issue that required attention and the institute would represent the views of the Gulf NRIs with the Indian civil aviation authorities. Mr Jasjit Singh Jaaj has been appointed the Chairman of the UAE chapter, while Mr Kamal Vachani has been appointed the President, he said.
