Back Tata Indicom tariffs cut for Mumbai, Delhi Our Bureau
Mumbai , Sept. 30 TATA Indicom has slashed its fixed wireline and wireless tariffs for its Mumbai and Delhi customers, close on the heels of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd slashing Mumbai-Delhi long distance rates to Rs 1.90 per minute. Fixed-line-to-fixed-line calls between the two cities will now cost Rs 1.80 per minute, (earlier tariff Rs 4.80 per minute). Inter-circle calls to fixed lines, fixed wireless and mobiles above 50 kilometres (km) will now be charged at Rs 2.40 per minute (Rs 4.80 per minute). . Further, local calls to Tata Indicom mobiles are charged at a 180-seconds pulse, and those to other CDMA mobile operator at 90-seconds pulse. The company said it has also simplified call charges by reducing the distance slabs to two - one below 50 km, and one above 50 km. These rates are applicable from Saturday.
