Phillip's spell in vain

NEW DELHI, OCT. 5. A six-wicket haul by Phillip Hughes proved inadequate as Malaysia School Sports Council beat School Sports Australia by three wickets in a league match of the under-16 Commonwealth cricket series on Tuesday.

School Sports Australia 120 for nine in 50 overs (Phillip Hughes 41, Abdul Rashid Ahad four for 13) lost to Malaysia School Sports Council 121 for seven in 47.1 overs (Phillip Hughes six for 24).
