Shivam stars in DPS triumph

NEW DELHI, OCT. 5. An unbeaten century by Shivam Sharma who struck five 6s and 11 fours helped Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, to a seven-wicket victory over Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden, in the final of the Radha Kishan memorial inter-school cricket tournament.

Shivam Sharma was adjudged the `man of the match', while Jitesh Khanna was declared the `man of the tournament'.

Mohsin Kamil and Prashant Gupta were selected for the `best batsman' and `best bowler' awards while the `best fielder' award was given to Narender Chauhan.

Cambridge Foundation School, Rajouri Garden, 151 in 34 overs (Ankit Singh four for 15) lost to Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, 157 for three in 26 overs (Shivam Sharma 100 not out).
