SAI `D' makes merry

BANGALORE, OCT. 5. Sports Authority of India `D' swamped New Ashoka 18-0 in the State C Division league hockey tournament at the KSHA here on Tuesday.

Nitin Thimmaiah scored five goals, Ponappa and Siddaram Reddy three goals, Ashwin Chengappa a brace and Sumant Patel, Cariappa, Punit, Nachappa and Bopaiah completed the tally for SAI.

In the second match, Dhanraj Ballal Hockey Academy beat Mico (Naganathpura) 3-0. Ankit Mody, Lohit Bharani and Hitesh were the scorers for DBHA.
