KSP beats ADE

BANGALORE, OCT. 5. KSP defeated ADE 2-0 in a George Hoover Cup super division league match at the Football Stadium here on Tuesday. KSP's fourth victory in eight matches left it with a points tally of 12 while ADE remained at 10 points from eight outings.

KSP surged with the quickest goal in the tournament as Inayathullah Khan struck within 40 seconds of the first half. Inayathullah fired a volley from the left and bulged the net. KSP extended its lead in the 60th minute as Vinod slammed home a free-kick that was awarded after Inayathullah was brought down by ADE's Shiva Kumar.

Earlier in another super-division match, Saravana's 18th minute strike guided CIL to a 1-0 victory over Government Press.
