Back Thrust on infrastructure at biz meet

MANGALORE: The President of the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mr A. Srinivasa Rao, has said that good infrastructure is essential for the development of business in any city. He was inaugurating a seminar on `action for business and industrial development,' organised by the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation in Mangalore on Sunday. A positive bent of mind also plays important role in developing business and industry, he added.

The Proprietor of Achal Industries, Mangalore, Mr G. Giridhar Prabhu, who delivered the keynote address, said that people from trade and industry are keen on the development of infrastructure in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts. The Government should initiate steps on infrastructure development. Though Mangalore has facilities such as a major port, an airport, and railway and road connectivity, they will have to be strengthened further.
