Back Canada invites Indian investment

CANADA has called upon Indian businessmen to invest in the North American country that offers a variety of opportunities to immigrants to set up ventures.

According to Lt Col. B.S. Sandhu, Chairman and Managing Director of WorldWide Immigration Consultancy Services Ltd (WWICS), Canada offered avenues under the self-employed, entrepreneur, investor and provincial nominee programmes.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr Sandhu said Canadian economy provided access to over 400 million consumers in the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) member countries.

There were about one million Indians living in Canada.

Mr Sandhu was here to educate the local businessmen about the opportunities available in Canada.
