Letters to the Editor
Sir, This is with reference to the article "Kill me once, not everyday!" (Open Page, Oct. 12). Why is the author assuming that it is the man who always calls the shots and the woman who complies. If a matrimonial demands a `goddess' of her, she can dig her heels in and refuse in the face of those who demand it. If something has to be killed, it is submissiveness. Raise your voice against discrimination rather than plead meekly `kill the girl just once, rather than everyday.'
