Back Gaurang Shah is Kotak Life MD

THE Chief Operating Officer of Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance Company Ltd (Kotak Life), Mr Gaurang Shah, is taking over as the company's Managing Director. The board of directors of Kotak Life on Thursday approved Mr Shah's appointment.

The 42-year-old Mr Shah, finance professional for 21years, has been with the Kotak Mahindra group for over eight years.

He takes over from Mr Shivaji Dam, who would be focussing on the strategic initiatives of the Kotak Mahindra group as director on the boards of Kotak Life and Kotak Mahindra Bank and member of the bank's management committee.
