Back Ispat Ind Q2 net at Rs 77.47 crore

ISPAT Industries Ltd (IIL) has reported a net profit of Rs 77.47 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as against a net loss of Rs 21.24 crore recorded in the same period last year.

A release issued by the company said that total income (net of excise) for the period under review stood at Rs 1,523.32 crore as against Rs 858.7 crore in the same period last year.

For the six months ended September 30, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 31.85 crore as compared to a net loss of Rs 10.34 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The company release also said that the free on board (f.o.b) value of IIL's exports for the six months period ended September 30, stood at Rs 843 crore.
