Back Chemfab to pay 25 pc interim

CHENNAI: Chemfab Alkalies Ltd has reported a turnover of Rs 2.84 crore for the second quarter ended September compared with Rs 1.67 crore in the same period last year, a growth of 70 per cent. The company's board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.50 per share (25 per cent).

Turnover increased to Rs 18.24 crore against Rs 17.01 crore. and interest charges fell to Rs 68 lakh from Rs 1.1 crore.

For the first half of the current year, the company achieved a turnover of Rs 34.59 crore, up from Rs 31.34 crore. Net profit for the period was Rs 4.50 crore (Rs 2.9 crore).
