Back GETEX to be held next year Vimala Vasan
Abu Dhabi , Nov. 2 THE Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX), which has already had 16 successful annual shows in Dubai, is venturing into India in 2005, under the new title Global Education and Training Exhibition. Plans are also on to enter the Far Eastern market in 2006. Mr Anselm Godinho, Managing Director, International Conference & Exhibitions (IC&E), organisers of GETEX, said that the first exhibition in India would be held from February 26 to 28 in Bangalore and from March 3 to 5 in Hyderabad. "Both the locations have been chosen bearing in mind the very strong local higher education sector and a large population seeking the best in international higher education. The two cities also offer easy access and excellent accommodation options to visitors from Sri Lanka and the Maldives, as well as the neighbouring Indian States and the sub-continent as a whole,'' Mr Godinho said, according to a statement from the organisers made available to Business Line.
