Back AP gems and jewel park by next March

THE AP Gems and Jewellery Park will be ready by next March. Announcing this here at a meeting recently, Mr B. Satyanarayana, Minister for Major Industries, said the park would boost exports of gems and jewellery.

The Rs 60-crore project is a joint venture between AP State Trading Corporation (APSTC) and IOI Corporation Berhad, leading property developers of Malaysia. Coming up in Banjara Hills, the park will have state-of-the-art testing laboratories, export co-ordination avenues and training facilities.
