Back Portwise, Sun Micro sign pact

HYDERABAD: Sun Microsystems and PortWise AB on Wednesday announced that they are entering a sales, marketing and technology partnership, to deliver a Linux-based SSL VPN (secure socket layer virtual private network) appliance to provide secure application access for remote workers, partners and their Asian customers.

The Vice-President for Asia Pacific, PortWise, Mr Kaushik Thakkar, in a statement said "employees, partners and customers are demanding more flexible working practices ."
