Back Ingersoll Rand offers PG course on road technology Our Bureau
Bangalore , Nov. 3 INGERSOLL Rand (India), in association with Visvesvaraya Technological Institute (VTU), has started post-graduate course on road technology for civil engineering students. The teaching and training programme of the course will be conducted by the Road Institute of Ingersoll Rand. The course will cover theoretical and practical aspects of modern and advanced topics of highway and road technology. The first part of the course will consist of regular curriculum, including classroom teaching, laboratory work and field studies using the latest equipment, sourced from Ingersoll Rand. This will be followed by preparation and examinations. The second part will consist of project work at the road sites followed by project evaluation. The course will help in reducing the shortage of civil engineers with adequate expertise and experience in highway engineering and road technology and in the modern design, construction and maintenance practices.
