RR girls triumph

HYDERABAD, NOV. 9. Ranga Reddy girls won the 50th Golden jubilee State inter-district ball badminton championship with a 29-12, 29-10 win over Adilabad in the final at Amangal (Mahabubnagar), according to information received here.

Power failure brought an abrupt end to the boys' final between Ranga Reddy and Karimnagar with the former leading 27-29, 29-25, 23-2. The organisers later declared the teams joint-winners.
