Indian, Pakistan teams arrive today

KOLKATA, NOV. 9. The Indian and Pakistan teams are scheduled to arrive here on Wednesday for the November 13 one-dayer at Eden Gardens.

While the Indian players are to assemble from various parts of the country by the evening, the Pakistan team is scheduled to land at 10 p.m.

Massive security arrangements have been made at the airport and the team hotel as also the Eden Gardens for the two teams, especially the visiting side.

The police are not taking any chances following the untoward incident during the 1999 Asian Test championship match between the two sides here. — PTI
