Man charged with killing wife

HYDERABAD, NOV. 12. A labourer, S. Kumar, allegedly beat his wife, Rukmini (34), to death at Kandikalgate in Old City on Thursday night. The Chatrinaka police registered a murder case based on a complaint lodged by the victim's brother, B. Balram. Police are on the lookout for Kumar.

Kumar was an alleged habitual drunkard and used to beat his wife for petty reasons.
