Fire sparks panic at Pathergatti

HYDERABAD, NOV. 12. A minor stampede swept through Ramazan shoppers at the crowded Pathergatti area late on Friday night following fire breaking out at a nearby commercial complex. Luckily, none was injured.

Fire broke out even as the place was teeming with Ramazan shoppers. While three shops were completely destroyed in the fire accident, the premises of Bank of Jammu and Kashmir were partially damaged. Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot to put out the fire.

Police also rushed a unit of the Rapid Action Force to control the situation.
