Prakash triumphs

MYSORE, NOV. 21. V. Prakash (JWGC), with 27 points won the Stableford gross (0-8) title in the prestigious 3rd McDowell Signature Club golf championship's Mysore leg at the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar golf course here on Sunday. Dr. Anthony Fernandez won the Stableford net (9-16) title with 35 points, while Ramesh (Mys) won the Stableford Net (17-24) title with 34 points.

All the six winners will represent Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club in the Southern Regional finals of the 3rd McDowell's Signature Club Golf championship.

The results: Stableford gross (0-8): 1. V. Prakash (JWGC, 27 pts.); 2. Hussain Wagh (JWGC, 25).

Stableford net (9-16): 1. Dr. Anthony Fernandez (35 pts); 2. Dr. Caveriappa N.M (32 pts- better back nine over Lt. Col. Deepak Bhandari).

Stableford net (17-24): 1. Ramesh (34 pts.); 2. Mrs. Gayathri Mohan (32 pts.).
