Teachers wins title

NEW DELHI, NOV. 21. Teachers beat Jindal Steel and Power 6-5 in the final of the ABN Amro Nawab of Bhopal and Pataudi polo trophy tournament at the Jaipur polo ground here on Sunday.

In a close match, Samir Suhag missed a 60-yard penalty in the last minute and thereby the chance to equalise for Jindal Steel. Argentine player Fabio Lavania was in fine nick for Teachers scoring four goals while Lokendra Singh got in the other two. For the loser, Simran Shergill (2) and Samir Suhag (3) were the scorers.
