Two killed in road accident in Belgaum

BELGAUM, DEC. 5. Two persons died on the spot and two were injured in an accident near M.K. Hubli on Belgaum-Dharwad Road on Sunday.

The police said the accident occurred when a lorry overturned after dashing a petrol tanker and hit another lorry passing by.

The deceased have been identified as Dattu, driver, and Ramu (21), cleaner. Nazir Ahmed and Ganesh, who were injured, have been admitted to the district hospital here.

The police have registered a case.
